From the Festival Screen to Yours.
SoCal Film Awards began in 2005 as the SoCal Independent Film Festival, bringing independent films and audiences together for theatrical screenings, filmmaker appearances, and conversations about the art of cinema.
Although SoCal Film Awards no longer holds theatrical screenings, we know that many of the films we consider are headed for festival theaters, premieres, special events, and other big-screen opportunities. We would love to help you get there.

What Is a DCP?
A Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is the standard format used by many commercial theaters and film festivals to present movies on digital cinema projection systems. It is different from simply providing an MP4 or other ordinary video file.
